7 zip command help.

Ladies and Gents

I have been doing a lot of research on 7zip and have come up with this command after running cmd and typing in cd\program files\7-zip

7z a -t7z -r "C:\Downloads\zipped.7z" "C:\Downloads"

Can anyone tell me what im doing wrong . I opened CMD and typed in cd\program files\7-zip and then copied the command above in it and it started to run but was scanning through the whole PC rather than just C:\Downloads

I do have the commands the right way round? Any files in C:\Downloads to be zipped into C:\Downloads\zipped.7z ??

Any ideas?

This guy has been posting so much, spread over so many topics, that I completely missed that.

I, at one point, considered breaking everything down for him. Then, after I reread everything, I realized everyone had already given him exactly what he needed, and he neglected to utilize it.
