Changing time zone remotely?

#1 Post by mr_wizard » 03 Aug 2012 09:56

Hey folks, got a user on the other side of the states were having trouble remotely controlling. I'm aware of the dos command:

RunDLL32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL timedate.cpl,,/Z Mountain Time

But how would I run something like that remotely?

I see W32tm command as well, but not sure what syntax is needed. Keep getting errors when I plug in the IP address. Thanks.

Assuming those commands relate to changing the time or time zone - how will they affect remote control?

PSexec might help you though.
