[DEBATABLE] Time to upgrade to Windows 8 from Windows 7?

I tried to back up my windows 7 installation and it failed, twice.

Did the backup fail, and did the upgrade fail too?

There should be log files and error codes that show why it failed.

So back on topic.

It is not a good idea to do on line payments using an OS of which product support has expired.
Adding [DEBATABLE] to the title is misleading.
