How to open an .oct file

Recently, i downloaded an .oct file but i cannot open it. I would like to ask how can I view the file ?

The extension ".oct" is related to various software products:
- Optical coherence tomography file (medical software product)
- RADIANCE Octree Format file (ray-tracing software system for UNIX)
- Octave dynamically loadable cobject file (Octave)
