Please Help

#1 Post by BlueMerl » 07 Dec 2010 15:17

My batch file only has one line
EXIT
(I need a file that runs but does nothing).
On all my computers (Windows 7, Vista, XP) it works as supposed and returns zero.

One of my clients reported an error and provided a log where it has
"Process exited with code 1" instead of "Process exited with code 0"
for this file on Windows 7. What is the possible reason? I can't ask the client to
run it again so I don't know what would happen if it were
EXIT 0 instead of just EXIT.

Thank you.

Actually actually, I have no clue. It does sound like an anomaly. 8)

Way to drop the subtle HL reference...

My guess? User error... somehow.
